The journey from either airport takes about an hour by car - the motorway is less busy than UK motorways. The slower coast road gives you the chance to see the spectacular coastal scenery around Altea, Calpe and beyond to Javea and Moraira.

Inland, the scenery in the Jalon Valley is some of Spain's most beautiful. The Jalon Valley is famous for its almond blossom in the spring time, when the valleys and the mountain sides turn pink. The region is also well known for its wine which is exported world-wide.
